why do you always go for the griffons?
what do they drop?
Useless imperfect gold items with lousy upgrades?
Constantly worry about getting interrupted?
Get a grip get EFFICIENT!
That's why you want to farm UW and not Augury in the First Place.
On the long run you can expect 1Ekto,1Gold Item, 2P per hour from two man UW runs. I know this because I'm doing this for months AND I keep a statistic (you know one of those numbery thingies from the football broadcast)
You can also farm Elona Mission, just the first 15 Minotaurs behind the door. That will get you around 9p per hour, extremely simple but extremely boring. no interrupts. please process all stuff dropping. use this build
necromancers, even for a second class, are also your first choice when "fastbuilding" a new character. just leave the tutorial have yourself rushed to sanctum cay and camp rankor. outside the south exit the henches will gladly kill the spiteful spirit boss for you. tricky part is knowing a friend to drag you through sanctum cay mission at lvl3, something I haven't mastered with henches, yet.
then somebody will surely get you to elona. take a look at the picture, you get the idea. slowly crank up the skills and numbers you should be level 17 in about an hour or two (depends on your xp booster stock)
take a look you get the idea, all skills available without ANY trouble
but be warned farming will not make you rich. As all people do it the only result will be spiking prices. This is a free market so many ektos will mean low prices, less prestige in owning FoW armor. Meanwhile some items you only find once in 1000h will still cost the equivalent of 1000h “gamework” time (farming) now one “working hour” in gw is worth between 2-4k depending on your service. If everybody is farming again it will surely spike back to 10k (if I need 10h to come by some item I surely would want you to offer me something of equal value for it, hence the amount of money you can come by in 10h sounds fair.)
but not to piss in somebodys pool but are people really that du... and desper... to pay somebody to show them something you can easily ask around for inside the game. it's not like the good players don't share such things.
so thank you for finally writing such a guide, it's just the right size. you should do something like this on mursaatfarmer, shardfarmer, etc. too.
all those treasure hunting builds

Nice guide
Just one point you might want to check to confirm regarding the Cities of Ascalon quest to get the -55hp item:
I got the quest without having to do the counting the fallen quest. Northern wall was the only one I'd done when Symon gave me CoA. This was as of a couple of weeks ago, so someone may want to re-test to make sure.
On a side note: Came across an "invinci-monk" in CA last night. Watched for a while as the warriors on my team kept bashing away with no sucess. One Vamp Gaze later and the monk was face down in the dust

Consider this a request please! I've been trying to get some to get the collectors shield for my warrior for a while now.

You will also need a customized, max damage smiting rod (req. lvl 10 or less) to kill Dying Nightmares as soon as they pop up. Worth’s Holy Rod is a very good choice, as you get a neat casting and recharge bonus for Protective Spirit and it’s also cheap (you could find one for 5k or less in Deldrimor War Camp). You should be using the 55 hp build with two weapon sets: your main weapon with an enchanting mod and the –50 health offhand, and a smiting rod with the same –50 health offhand.
Your attributes should look like this:
* Healing Prayers: 13
* Smiting Prayers: 10
* Protection Prayers: 13
* Divine Favor: 13

You mentioned zealots fire but don't use it indeed so I apologize.. However, your skill bar for UW does not have ANY smiting skill on it, except your rod with the req. Use a divine favor rod, and put those points into divine favor for more healing, and even longer enchants.. Or even tactics although 5-6 secs bonetti is more then enough

I mentioned Zealot's Fire for solo, not for 2-man UW

Nice guide but I'm confused on something.
Heal 10+3 (sup)
Smite 6+3+1 (sup+scalp)
Prot 10+3 (sup)
Divine 10+3 (sup)
when I add up the number of attribute points for those, I get a total of 204. Am I missing something?

You need high smiting for bonettis to recharge. With 10 smiting, it will recharge in about 1/4 second with 12+ smites hitting you, which is enough to have a 'constant' bonettis up.

They're a fairly rare drop, or you can get a non-max one from a quest in presearing (not recommended.) I have a spare one, max energy (req8 prot) gold with 5 armor and -20hp if anyone is interested in buying it. Just msg me in game

I've been wondering about this build for awhile now... but is there any difference between using a pre-seer armor to a max defense armor for this build??
|
You will want to use some sort of ascetic (tatoo) armor so you have more energy. Also it's a good idea to have droks armor if you can afford it, there have been times that I've been without prot spirit, and hit by graspings a couple times before i could get it back up, and still survived. Occasions like this are rare, but why not have the defense just in case?

Comprehensive is a great word to describe the guide... I only wish I'd read it a few months ago.
Even after soloing/2man runs in UW, I still learned quite a bit.
Thanks!

I could not get the "Cities of Ascalon" quest. So is it indeed nerfed?

Before, otherwise it might get interrupted (duh)
I think I'll record myself doing a 2-man UW run this week-end ..

No. You've probably done it and trashed the item. If you want, do it on another character... or for the lazy, just buy the item from players (5-15k)
Thanks for feedback guys, keep it coming!

Okay, apparently someone was offended by a gardening tool. So I'm banned for 24 hours, therefore I can't make runs with any of you guys tonight. Hopefully they don't delete my monk ! :S

Never use SoJ if you're going to 2man UW, it screws up a ton of stuff. Spellbreaker is capped just outside rankor in snake dance, by 'razorhawk', just go out of the town and turn left, and he'll be right there (maybe...)
